This marketing specialist will report to the National Sales Manager

Job Overview
The R&D Market Research Professional will work closely with the R&D Engineer and Sales Team to research, develop and strategize new products for TMP to take to market.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Identify, research and validate potential new markets
• Understand the costs for which the market will bear for these products
• Determine the market size and TMP’s potential gain/share by entering the market
• Work with TMP marketing/promotions to develop and deploy a plan to take new products to market
• Travel as needed to perform the appropriate data collection, including meeting with new and existing customers

• Education level: Bachelor’s Degree or Above
• Experience: Preferred to have a minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing or research type role
• Specific skills: Microsoft Office Knowledge
• Personal characteristics: Organized. Ability to work in a group setting including engineers, sales personnel and customers. Willingness to make phone calls and document the results. Communicate a plan to the team(s)
